SOUTHERN AURORAS (4) was a commanding maiden winner last time at this track over the same trip, scoring by nearly 4 lengths. She has done all her racing here, and she can take the next step immediately. Go again. THE PIRATE QUEEN (9) settled back last start and just battled home up the straight, finishing fifth over this distance at Launceston. She drops in class and should figure in the top 4 this time. Each way. CELESTIAL GLOW (13) got back over 1100m here last time but ran on well late to finish fourth, not far off the winner. The extra 100m could make all the difference, and she can have the last say. MEGALITA (2) pushed forward from a wide gate to settle near the speed before lifting late to score by half a length at Launceston over 1200m. He cops another wide gate, but he is still worth including in all top 4 combos. OBVIOUSLY GOOD (3) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He was close up in a recent trial, and should not be taken lightly.
