She resumes without a public trial, but is still the one to beat. SHAVASANA (3) made plenty of progress on the Cambridge poly track earlier in the year and has enough speed to take up a forward position early on here. She will be a lot stronger now, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, she will be an each-way chance. BEAUESK (1) was a beaten favourite here fresh up just over 3 weeks ago when resuming over 1400m. He drops back to 1100m, and could be on his last chance. Don't drop him yet. Follow your money. FANCYPANTS (5) was unsuited at Te Rapa a week ago, and is just as likely to turn it around and win a race like this. Each way value from a good gate. CUSTOMIZED (2) will find this easier than any of his 3 runs back from a spell at Ellerslie. He has been looking for a good draw, and gets his chance to put his best hoof forward in this.
