MYSTIC PARK (1) was a tough winner of the TAB mile in his penultimate start, and then tried hard and ran on strongly to finish second by a length in the G3 Spring Sprint at Trentham last time out. He has earned his top weight and will be hard to beat again. SIR ALBERT (3) pushed the top to within a head in the TAB mile, and has been kept on ice since then, just over 6 weeks ago. He has had a couple of trials since then, and could be that runner's main danger again. SHAKING STEVENS (10) was back to his best when winning at Cromwell off a wide draw there a month ago. He is unbeaten here in 2 starts, and with a big swing in his draw, he could take some pegging back. WITZ END (6) had his second start from the Terri Rae stable and proved to be too tough, scoring by a neck on the Riccarton Poly track just over 3 weeks ago. He has a query over a mile, but still deserves plenty of respect. MATSCOT (2) was fifth in the TAB Mile and always gives his best. Include in all top 4 combos.
