THE WIZARD KING (2) finds it hard to win but is rarely far from the winner, the latest a close-up fifth off a wide gate. Deserves a win and doubt he'll get a better chance to return to winning form. The one with big upside is DANI CALIFORNIA (3). May not have the ratings of the others just yet but returned from a break with a smart maiden win at just second outing and should be much improved. Most of these have reached their limit but this one is at least going places. MAGIC DRUM (1) is a last start course and distance winner and does boast a strong record here. In form and can go close again. DUMMY SPIT (4) is a well-travelled galloper back in Victoria and is tough and has the ability. Worth including. ROCKCLIFF (8) could add some value to multiples. Well in with the big claim and can give a sight at odds.
