MISS CASTELVECCHIO (14) looks hard to beat this line-up. Hit the line hard for a close-up fifth at Caulfield two back then found the line powerful again last time when placed at a mile at Moe. Genuine pace will help and looks hard to hold out this field. FLAG FLYER (6) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by half a length over 1400m at Pakenham. Open to plenty of improvement and he is a major player again. LAVENDER GLORY (10) has been going around in tougher class. Wide draw but claim helps and looks a big chance to return to the winner's list. BOOKMAN (5) has been going along very well including a narrow second over the border when sat on speed and fought on well to place. Can do the same here. THE NEGOTIATOR (1) was solid fresh and strips fitter for the extra ground. Will be winding up strongly.
