She won a trial in December, and her stable is in good form at the moment. Hard to beat, especially if the money comes for her. RISING WIND (2) has raced her way in good form, and put the writing on the wall when finishing runner-up by half-a-length at Te Aroha nearly 4 weeks ago. He cops a wide gate, but can still go one better. MERILLIAN (11) was sixth in a slightly tougher field at Ellerslie just over 3 weeks ago. Dropping back from a mile to 1400m will suit her, and she is capable of a top 3 finish in this field. ABSOLUTELYFABULOUS (9) motored home to finish third by a head here 3 weeks ago over 1200m. She can win this.
