ATTACK FORCE (1) is a former Victorian from the Hayes stable who has had two runs for the new yard. Fourth over 1200m first run this area then a close-up second when out to a mile. Looks suited by the extra ground now and can get off the mark. CUT DIAMONDS (8) is going better than last run suggests when gave a huge start and never threatened on the Gold Coast. Form prior sound here. Has had a lot of chances but placed 2/3 this course and distance and will get off the mark soon. DUKE OF BANTRY (4) is yet to break through in eight runs. Finished fourth after being in contention on the bend over 1890m here last time and is among the main chances. CONCADOR (3) has wound up strongly in all three this time in and was on the heels of Attack Force last time so has to be considered. MELANCOLIE (5) has been thereabouts last few and can run on into the finish.
