SHOW PONY (7) has carried on with the promise he showed as a 3-year-old, and has won 2 of his 3 starts this season, finishing runner-up by a head as the favourite here nearly 3 weeks ago. This field is tougher, but a lot of the higher-assessed horses are out of form. He has 5kg less to carry and is the one to beat for us. HE'S TUNZA GRUNT (2) needed his fresh-up run as he usually does, and will be a lot sharper second up. He is at his best on a wet track, and with conditions to suit, he will be hard to hold out. MR BULLY TEE (6) failed to fire at Riccarton 6 days ago after being caught wide. He drops 6kg in weight for this assignment, and can bounce straight back into the money. QUEEN OF KINGS (10) has found it hard to win another race since winning her maiden at the start of the season. She jumps a couple of grades here, but does get a superior gate, which may be enough to see her figure in the top 4. HARLECH (1) has been out of form in tougher fields and is a chance at this level.
