Very open. LEGACY BAY (8) hit the line well fresh over 1100m at Caulfield, getting back after a slow start and working home into third. She'll be much better suited over the extra 100m here and gets in well with just 53.5kg from a middle draw. ACTUALITY (7) is racing well. She can be forgiven on the heavy track at Flemington two back but stuck on well at Cranbourne last time out when ridden forward, against her usual pattern. Not sure what the tactics will be from a wide gate but she's up to this. GRACIE'S RAIN (2) won the 1100m race that Legacy Bay comes through, leading all the way there. She was only first up and has won twice at 1200m, although in easier company. She'll be in front for a long way. MERRIGOLD (3) comes back in trip. Her best form reads well for this. DOLLAR SHOT (4) is in good form and could measure up.
