Verdict

SNOW GOD (10) got the job done in impressive fashion last start over 1200m here when bolting in by 2.8L. He draws well once again and the rise in trip doesn't hurt. Still looks to have some upside and can land the knockout blow, turning the tables on the progressive YORGA PRIDE (4) who beat Snow God first-up, before scoring back-to-back wins last start. She was very impressive there when close to the speed and the 3kg claim of Cooper gets her in nicely at the weights. Likely to be back in the run but should be flying late in the race and can extend her winning streak. SCULLY (7) got over the top to score a fortnight ago when settling back in the run. The slight rise in trip doesn't look an issue, though he is likely to be back from the gate. Chris Parnham sticks, however and he looks a live chance. ESSENTRIC NATURE (9) is third-up today and gets Pike in the saddle again now. Back in trip is the query but he's good enough. LITTLE SILVER (2) ties in through Scully and won't be far away.
