MAGIC CARATS (1) missed here two back before an impressive effort back to 1400m last start at this track. The draw makes things tricky, but the rise in trip is ideal and if he runs up to what he did last time out, he'll be very hard to hold out. EXCAVATION (4) came back to this trip on the Scarpside at Pinjarra after good efforts over further prior to that. Brad Parnham hops in the saddle now replacing the apprentice hoop and he can bounce back to winning ways. BUSTER BIFF (6) steps out in trip for the first time today and that appears to be what he's looking for. The son of Jimmy Choux hits this third-up and sharp improvement is on the cards. KODY'S BELLE (8) comes through the same race as Excavation last time out and that form looks good for a race of this calibre. WILLYABRUP (5) is better than what he showed last start and can bounce back dropping in trip.
