There was plenty of merit in the effort, and before that, he'd led in a rich feature at the Sunshine Coast and wasn't beaten far. He draws the outside gate, but gets McDougall, and this is winnable with average luck. THE EYES HAVE IT (8) switched yards and just missed here first-up. She has plenty up her sleeve, and the longer sprint will suit. SHE'S A DAME (7) debuts and is in a top Sydney stable. She's been a while coming to the races, but is well-seasoned and will likely run along. The betting will be key. COPARTNER PEGASUS (1) resumes and has been well-trialled. Has a low barrier and a handy 2kg claim, and no surprise if he races well.
