SONOFKIRK (4) is the one with a run under the belt that makes most appeal. He hit the line well on debut at Flemington behind the smart Miss Ole, getting within a length there in third. Not sure back to 1000m is necessarily ideal but he can improve off that and be very hard to hold out. SHAHAR (9) is a filly by Blue Point on debut for the Yargi's. Liked her recent jumpout win at Mornington when showing early speed and putting a space on her rivals. Don't underestimate. HELLO ROMEO (1) has to concede these weight but has won two races, including fresh at Sandown Hillside. Have to respect once more. OYSTER LANE (6) is a colt by Blue Point on debut for the Maher yard who has won a couple of jumpouts and draws well. Wary. FROSTNIP (5) can improve back on top of the ground and is not to be discounted.
