SPREAD THE LOVE (7) met with strong support on debut and the money was on target, victory coming by a long neck over 1200m at Goulburn after he stalked the pace into the lane. Open to plenty of improvement and can take this next step. TOMANADO (9) has struggled of late in comparable races in Victoria. Interesting to note he has won two from four on right-hand tracks, and none from 14 the other way. Crosses the border so might be worth another chance. PARTY BOSS (6) has returned in great shape, just missing first-up then making amends with a game victory over 1175m at Albury four weeks ago. Awkward gate but otherwise makes plenty of appeal. MONAGHAN'S BOY (13) has been easily accounted for in two runs this prep but can do a lot better over this longer journey. The speedy HELLINDA (17) can negate the wide draw and give them something to catch.
