DUNTULM LASS (11) looks well placed. She was sent around a $2.15 favourite at Pakenham last time out but simply didn't run the 2000m having been close up in town prior, still sticking on for third there despite the seven-length margin. Now back to 1600m, she can improve again and take beating. ICARO (2) was well supported on debut at Kyneton and ran an encouraging race from back in the field, getting home nicely for fourth. Better for that with the rise in trip to suit, he looks a key chance. NEWCOMBE (4) has been sound in two runs back from a spell, well backed second up at Moe. He's drawn awfully in both runs and now gets the switch. CHILLIES (8) is a gelding by Too Darn Hot on debut for the Begg yard. Have to respect albeit his jumpouts haven't been amazing. AUBAINE (7) was better last time and has minor claims with further improvement.
