THOROS OF MYR (2) was quickly back in the winner's circle delivering comfortably as expected. She's a leader drawn low with a handy 2kg claim. Well placed to be winning again. CORNELIAN BAY (4) keep racing well and her nose defeat here two back is good enough for this. Didn't manage the wide gate last time and 2x winning rider Pires is reunited. GOLDEN MEADOW (6) hasn't been too far away on the turf. She has won 3/5 here over this distance and the premier rider sticks. Keep very safe. WARICA (5) mixes the form but his best would have him in the finish. Keeps a 3kg claim and can place briefly freshened. GEEGEES CITY BOY (1) will be around the mark forgiving his latest.
