The $200,000 Listed Bernborough Handicap. It's hard to fault the form of RISING PACIFIC (7) who has strung three wins together on the bounce with Mallyon being on board for all three victories. Is a five-time winner over this mile journey and should be right there again when the whips are cracking. Import AL MUBHIR (2) put in an improved performance placing at Randwick last time out and should be cherry-ripe fourth-up from the break. Drawn to sit up on speed from gate two and can make his presence felt. PORT LOCKROY (1) hasn't been too far away in quality company of late and has a bit of class over this field. A return to form would not surprise. The well-named TENZING (4) has only missed a drum once in five starts over this course and distance and handles all going. Top-three candidate. SIBAAQ (9) rounds out the selections in an open contest.
