SIMPLY EXCELS (3) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this calibre. Tuned up for this with two recent trial victories and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. MELDUBIOUS (11) just found one better when facing the starter for the first time before getting the job done at Ipswich in impressive fashion last time out. Can go right on with the job now. The well-related ADRANOS (9) (half to G2 winner Tiamo Grace) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and is yet to put in a poor one. Has to be included. GAMBINO (10) saves his best form for this six-furlong journey and will strip fitter second-up from the break. In the mix. KILMAN (12) best of the rest from the Waller yard.
