TAVS (10) was okay at Toowoomba when resuming before improving sharply with a strong win over this track and trip last time out. Is two from two here and Callow stays on top. Looks well placed so expect another positive performance. The consistent ANEMACORE (11) has a win and two placings from four attempts around this circuit and rarely puts in a poor one. Drawn perfectly for Melbourne Cup winning hoop Dolan in gate three and should be right there when the whips are cracking. MISSISSIPPI PRINCE (2) was too bad to be true last time out but go on the strong win here two back. Worth another chance. SUBSTANTIAL (3) is yet to miss a place in four starts over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. In the mix. FLASHING STEEL (8) best of the rest from the Archibald yard.
