HOT MAJESTY (1) is finding the line with gusto this prep, the latest effort a closing third over the mile at this track. Beautifully placed out to this trip third-up and a long win drought might end today. PROCHESTER (2) is an ex-Victorian stayer having his first run under Jack Bruce. Wasn't beaten all that far at his last run seven weeks ago in a BM66 over a 2580m at Cranbourne. Will be better for the run but in this company he is capable of a bright performance while fresh. COOL RUNNING (8) has been run off his legs in two runs this time in work over sprint trips. Yet to be tested beyond a mile but he needs a bit of ground now. Could be the surprise packet with Ange Jones taking over. CIGAR MAN (4) raced handy but found one better at Ipswich recently. Rock hard fit and may find a length or two with the blinkers applied for the first time. IN SOCIETY (9) can improve with a step up in journey today.
