The step up to a middle distance will suit her, and she deserves a winning turn. EL VENCEDOR (1) loves it here with 5 wins from 7 starts, and tried hard when finishing seventh over a mile at Te Rapa against most of these 3 weeks ago. Expect him to force the pace this time, and he will take a lot of pegging back. QUINTESSA (10) hooked out wide and rattled home from last when winning the G1 Proisir Plate here 6 weeks ago. She trekked to Awapuni for a trial since then, and there is no reason why she can't have the last say here as well. WAITAK (2) showed a lot of grit to beat most of these at Te Rapa over a mile last time out. His track stats are a query, but he can repeat.
