Verdict

Keen to see OBSERVER (2) tackle some stronger opposition off the back of a dominant five length victory at Sandown Lakeside last time out. Controlled the race there and walked in, running fast time in the process. Looks Group class and it's been no surprise to see him into the red early. BELLA PIETRA (10) appreciated the rise to this trip at Pakenham when running out an easy three length victor. Stays right down in the weights after the claim and can measure up. MILLENNIUM BLADE (3) has been good in two runs to date, sticking on well over 1200m at Caulfield last time. Should have no issues up in trip again and has claims. BUCCLEUCH (4) was sent for an easy kill at Echuca last time and did so at the prohibitive $1.14 quote. The run behind Highvol prior is good form. IMPENDING WAR (1) has won both starts to date and is hard to knock.
