He may need some luck in running, but his recent form looks the form lines to follow. The one to beat. SCURGEOFTHEWEST (4) just missed fresh before a 1.1L defeat last start over this course and distance when jumping the equal favourite. Yuill hops on board now in a good push for his chances and he's still an improving commodity. Maps to get every chance and can make go close. BLOWIN' SMOKE (2) was just 2.6L off the winner over 1200m here last time out when closing off strongly in a CL2. Cheung's 2kg claim comes in handy and the rise in trip should suit. Watch for him storming home late. SPECIAL PLAN (11) wasn't beaten far last time out and has to be included. BLITZ (8) is ticking along nicely and is worth including.
