Ready for the step-up to the 1800m journey now and gets the services of Maloney in the irons. Rates the testing material. The well-related CAVALRY MAN (11) (half to G2 winner Positive Peace) has hit the top-five in all four runs this time in work and will be rock-hard fit for this. Capable of another forward performance. WALSH BAY (6) has hit a purple patch winning three of four this campaign and it's hard to knock mares in form. Has to be included despite the wide draw. NORTHERN DECREE (4) was a touch disappointing last time out but the two runner-up finishes prior were good enough for a race like this. Worth another chance. MENAZZI (3) is one from one over this track and trip and shouldn't be taken lightly.
