Bumper winner THE LONG POINT showed promise over hurdles last term, but he's likely to be seen in a far better light now tackling the larger obstacles. The form of the maiden point in which he was third on his sole start between the flags has worked out really well and the 6-y-o, who represents a yard that has made a good start to the season, could be well treated for this chase debut. Gris Majeur brushed Redbridge Rambler aside at Ludlow last month and he is feared most.
