Has a solid record over this journey with three wins and two placings from seven starts and will be ready to go third-up from the break. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. CASTILLIAN (11) got an overdue victory at Doomben last time out and will have derived a bunch of confidence from that win. Gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to earn a lion's share of the prize money. SIR ARTIE (2) just ran into one better when resuming and will have come on with that run now in the locker. Can run another bold race. BETTCHA THE CROWN (1) saves his best form for this trip and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. In the mix on best form. DEEP RESPECT (9) rounds out the selections in an open affair.
