SWEET BUT PSYCHO (3) would not mind, but is unlikely to get a firmer surface here, but her form has been near enough, and she is the one to beat in this. ROBBIE BURNS (2) won here fresh up, and then was less than a length off the winner at Te Aroha 4 weeks ago over a mile. The extra 400m will suit third up. Hard to beat. MUSCOVADO (1) finally had some decent luck and was well ridden to score an upset win here nearly 2 weeks ago. This is no harder, so stick with him. TE ATATU DREAM (4) can mix her form, and was a solid third here last time out behind the third pick. She won't lack fitness, and with the right run, she can take this out. PIXIE (7) just battled in an amateur riders' race at Te Aroha nearly 4 weeks ago. She has more upside than most here. Each way value.
