BRADLEY (1) was placed in all 3 starts last prep, and would have strengthened up for this season. He handles the wet, and a wide gate might be an advantage by the last race of the day. He has had no public trials, but if ready, he is the one to beat. KINTARO (2) dug deep and bounced back into form with a second-place finish at Tauranga 16 days ago. A repeat effort will take him close to winning this. SAVINA (14) resumes from a spell with a recent trial under her belt. The blinkers come off, and maybe she has improved enough to be a top 4 chance fresh up in a modest field. Use the market as the best guide. LA PLANCHA (8) will be peaking fourth up from a spell, and did show some pace to lead up at Tauranga last time out. Include in all combinations. KERBLINE (3) was third of 6 as the favourite fresh up at Te Aroha, and then fourth at Avondale 9 days ago. He is at his peak third up, and is good enough to figure in the finish again.
