STEEL TRAP (4) was no match for a very smart winner when resuming in the G3 Breeders' Stakes last start, but still did a great job to beat home the rest. Is sure to have come on with that run under her belt and is sure to take some stitching. BRAVE DESIGN (1) resumes from a short spell and brings excellent form lines from a two-start maiden prep, highlighted by a runner-up effort in the G2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes, behind Vinrock. Has class on his side, wide draw the only knock. SALTY PEARL (5) made an eye-catching return at Bendigo. Will appreciate the added trip and gets a key booking in Zahra from a muck kinder draw. In the mix. Smaller each-way cases could be made for debutant pair SHOCAP (10) and SYNTHESISE (11). Both strip fitter for some solid recent trials, but this does look tough.
