Verdict
Small field, as is often the case in these early season 2YO races. Siding with the race experience of BLANDFORD BARON (1), who was very good at Murray Bridge on debut. He might have bumped into a very smart filly there. Expect him to jump and settle on speed again and, with the experience, he will be hard to beat. REBEL TUESDAY (4) also comes out of the Moorundi Classic at Murray Bridge and was also good there. Will need to find a couple of lengths to turn the tables on Blandford Baron but she's got the scope to find another length or two. Of the first starters, GOT TICKETS (5) might be the one. The Victorian visitor looked good at the jumpouts and the stable has found a winnable race to kick her off in. Must respect the other first starters TAGALONG MISS (6) and PORTARLINGTON (2).
