Phillip Stokes with a strong hand in this metropolitan maiden and both ACT NATURAL (1) and DAMELLI (12) boast winning chances. Act Natural has been placed in all seven career starts, including his three runs this preparation. He will roll forward with a handy claim and take some catching. His stablemate Damelli will be chasing but she may have to concede too much ground from the wide barrier. She ran fourth in a G3 behind some smart horses as a 2YO at the end of last campaign and her recent trial suggests she's come back well. FEAR THE ZOU (13) is a first starter that has shown glimpses of nice ability at the jump outs. She's drawn to get all the favours and can be in the mix on debut.
