FOX GEM (6) got home powerfully last start when having his first run for the season. His record suggests he is much better second-up so expect him to find a length or two. He's got a tricky draw so may concede a start but he can let loose with a powerful finish. He will be hard to beat. CLEITUS (10) is a likely improver and can run a cheeky race at a big price. His best Victorian form puts him in the frame and he maps to get a cosy run. Don't leave him out. LONGER ROUTE (2) is another that can improve sharply on the first-up run. The rise to 1800m and barrier four are both in his favour. FLAMING NAVY (8) must be included after bolting in to win an easier race last time. He looks the likely leader and will give plenty of cheek. The best of DUAL FUEL (4) would go close in this.
