HE’S A COOL CAT (5) got too far back here last week but worked home strongly late. Fourth-up now and with a genuine tempo expected, he looks ready to hit his straps and gets his chance to swoop late. BOOTLEGGER (1) is a progressive type who missed narrowly from making it two straight last time. Draws the inside and should get all the favours. TRIPOD TERROR (4) resumes for the Bieg camp and, while yet to score fresh, his two jumpouts suggest he’s forward enough to fire. Likely to take a sit and be charging hard late. ROUND TWO (2) is a consistent gelding with a strong record at this track and trip. Sure to make his presence felt again. CONNI ISLAND (3) has sharp early speed and should give himself every chance up on the pace. Not to be dismissed.
