Finished a narrow second two back and she finds a winnable race today. KAVAL (11) drifted back early and turned in a handy effort late when a plugging sixth over 1890m at Newcastle in the heavy (10) going. Comes back a level for this and doesn't have to improve much to take a hand in the finish. LILY DARLING (9) Dundeel mare who got off the mark at start eight with a fast finishing victory over 1600m at Scone. Adept in all conditions and can go on with it now. SWEXAN (2) lone win came at this track four starts back and has hardly set the world alight since. On the quick backup after fading late when seventh over 2000m at Canberra on September 5. Can hold a forward position and return to form.
