Sure to prove tough to hold out over an extra 100m. TOYGER (3) led but folded late and finished well back at the end of 1100m at Port Macquarie. Finds an easier race today and coming back slightly in distance is to his advantage. THRILLING VENTURE (7) has been kept fresh since a dominant all-the-way win first-up over 900m in a maiden at Scone. Back better than ever and can go to this next level. OUR SILVER LININGS (2) is back sharply in trip after a near miss at Murwillumbah last start. Has won twice and both times it was at 1000m. Cannot be ruled out. NEVERMISTA (5) has been in the money at all three runs this prep. Distance specialist who likes racing here so must be considered.
