Six of the last nine runnings of this have been won by 3-y-os and JANUARY, who is the clear pick of the quartet representing the Classic generation, is taken to enhance that trend. The Kingman filly banished memories of her low-key reappearance in the Irish 1000 Guineas with a solid effort at Royal Ascot and she should be spot-on now. Cinderella's Dream wasn't at her best when beaten by Crimson Advocate at the Royal meeting and may well reverse those placings here and emerge as the main danger.

Beaten only by Desert Flower in the May Hill and Fillies' Mile on her final 2 starts as a juvenile. Never involved in the Irish 1000 Guineas on her reappearance, but firmly back on track when third in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm) and she's the clear pick of the 3-y-os.

Tasted Grade 1 and 2 success in the US last summer (also second in Breeders' Cup final start) and improved again when an impressive winner of the Dahlia at Newmarket in May. Below par 1¾ lengths second to Crimson Advocate at Royal Ascot since, but now 3 lb better off with that rival. Big player.

Campaigned at 5f for previous connections in the US, but the reinvention of this filly as a miler has paid off, winning 2 of her 3 starts since upped to this trip, including the Duke of Cambridge at Royal Ascot (1m, firm) where she proved 1¾ lengths too good for Cinderella's Dream. Leading claims.

    Verdict
Convincing winner of the Duke of Cambridge at Royal Ascot last summer and ended 2024 with a fine second in the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp. However, not at the same level so far this year and she was fourth behind stablemate Crimson Advocate when bidding for a repeat Royal Ascot success last month.

Impressed when making a successful start in a 7f Kempton novice last summer and emerged with plenty of credit when fourth in the 1000 Guineas on the other course here in May. Out with the washing in the Oaks since (probably didn't stay the 1½m trip), but she remains open to improvement back at 1m.

Last year's 1000 Guineas winner, but beaten 4½ lengths by Cinderella's Dream in the Dahlia on reappearance and short of her best again when 5½ lengths fourth of 6 to Sosie in a 9f Longchamp Group 1 since. Looks set for another minor role.

Comfortable debut win in 11-runner maiden at Bellewstown in April and overcame the rise in when following up in Group 3 company at the Curragh (1m, good). However, she was put in her place back there in the Irish 1000 Guineas last time and may again be biting off more than she can chew.

Three-time winner at 2 yrs and left her reappearance display behind when landing the 9-runner German 1000 Guineas at Dusseldorf (1m, soft). However, both the conditions and calibre of opposition here will be very different.
