EPIC PROPORTIONS (1) clearly on top in what looks a winnable race. He's been rock solid in three runs back from a spell, dropping back to this class here last time out, boxing on well for second to be beaten under a length. Braith Knock goes aboard from an ideal draw and he'll take plenty of catching. VANESSI (7) was disappointing second up at Warwick Farm but struck heavy going there and may not have handled the conditions. Can bounce back here with the light weight. LAUREL HILL (5) resumes. She doesn't win out of turn but typically goes well first up and is up to winning this. Can land in a good spot midfield and prove hard to hold out. CANPIKAPONY (4) resumed with a nice win at Gosford in BM64 grade. This is harder but she'll be fitter and can go on with it. NEGOTIATIONS (2) is going okay and a minor hope.
