Small but tricky race with the average pace. TRAVOLTA (8) gone to a new level this campaign and should have little trouble running the 2400m out. Saved for the last crack at them when launching late for a surging victory over 2000m at Rosehill last Saturday. Drops to the limit and will take stopping against some of these more seasoned stayers. MUKTAMIL (6) tough stayer with a good record over this trip. Deep into his prep and comes here in peak form after finishing a narrow second over 2500m at Moonee Valley. Winkers go on and has genuine top three claims. CHANGINGOFTHEGUARD (1) classy stayer who indicated he was back to his best when a game on pace second over 2530m at Flemington. J Mac rides and can take control from the wide draw. Goes close. GLORY DAZE (4) holding his form this campaign and looks ready for the 2400m. Adept in all conditions and gets map favours with the average tempo. TAJANIS (5) struggled at both runs back but gets out to his preferred trip today.
