Another tough Highway with plenty of chances. WARPAINTED (13) Albury-trained gelding who resumed in good order with a surprise win over 1200m at Wagga. Goes equally as well second-up and since kept up to the mark with a 900m tick-over placing. Maps well. PHAROAHZANO (11) proven at this level and clearly strengthened over the break. Away slowly from the inside gate and warmed up late when fifth over 1200m at Scone. This is his pet trip and will prove hard to hold out with Nock's claim. PONY SOPRANO (2) back in trip when he shouldered the 61kg for a narrow third over 1200m at Scone. Key jockey change with J Mac aboard. Looms as a genuine threat. PETAWAWA (12) created a big impression when scoring by 4 lens over 1400m at Goulburn in weaker grade. Has claims despite drawing out. LAMBAY (3) comes to hand quickly and saves his best for this trip.
