PLATINUM ATTACK (2) is a very promising sprinter who has not been rushed. He resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good, and looked sharp when winning a trial at Awapuni last month. A good draw will help, and if he doesn't need the hit-out, then he is the one to beat. SLIPPER ISLAND (1) tried hard, but was short of a run fresh up at Trentham 7 weeks ago. He trialled at Pukekohe before trekking South, and though his main target is next week, he can still win this. INSATIABLE (6) fought on well enough fresh up at Ashburton 4 weeks ago, and he is usually sharper second up. A wide gate will be no help, but Bruno Queiroz is winning on anything lately, so don't risk them. AZEEZLE (10) was recently racing in Melbourne with some good results. He won a recent Ellerslie trial, and as he is probably being set for next week, he may be a run short here. Watch the market moves. ILLICIT DREAMS (3) is as game as they come, and she is right in this at some each-way value.
