AVIVA (7) probably should have won a race by now, and has been beaten as a short-priced favourite in each of her runs back from a spell this season. She has a tricky draw, but has a good chance to improve her modest track stats here. Follow your money. THE BOSS GIRLS (12) challenged and hit the front early in the run home at Ashburton last start before weakening late. Having a furlong less to travel here will help her, and with a patient ride, she can get the job done this time. TIK TOK TED (4) just battled over a mile last time out, and he has been wanting this 2000m trip for some time. The Myers team love winning races on this track, and he can figure in the top three here. BEAVERTOWN LASS (11) has been steadily improving with each start back from a spell. She has yet to be tried on a good surface, and this field is not strong. Stick with her on an each-way basis. BLUE GODDESS (8) ran her best race yet when finishing second over a mile at Ashburton 12 days ago. Top three claims again
