ZAHARIAS (4) was a beaten favourite on debut in a 3-horse field at Trentham 17 days ago, but would have learned a lot from that experience. She can settle on the pace from her good draw and is expected to be among the hardest to beat. URCHELLA (3) followed up a sound debut effort for third at Avondale with a fourth here last time out in a 5-horse field. She is nicely placed in this, and with an advantage in race-day experience, she can figure in the top 3 here. I AM BELLE (6) has shown promise at the trials and is bred to be good. A good gate will help, and any positive market support is worth following in. THE GRADUATE (8) finished third in her only public trial to date, and a good draw is always a help. Her stable is starting to fire up, and she is worth including in all combinations. MISS TWINKLE (2) fought hard on debut when finishing runner-up by a length. She will naturally improve second up, and can go one better.
