AVORIAZ (6) finally put it all together again when scoring a very comfortable BM60 win at Ashburton last time out over 2200m. The extra 400m should not be a problem for a mare with her breeding, and now that her fitness levels are where they should be, she has the confidence to go on with the job. DIORESSENCE (11) weakened out of it over 3000m here last start, but was only third up and needed the run. There will be no more of those excuses here, and she can bounce straight back into the money here. MOUNTAIN OF LIGHT (3) finished fifth as the favourite at Ashburton 12 days ago over 2200m, but was doing his best work late that day. He will be at his peak fitness now, and should secure the right run from the pole position early on. Stick with him on an each-way basis. SHEAF (1) will be jumping up from a mile to 2600m, and because she is trained by Kevin Myers, it won't be an issue. Include in all combinations. SECRET WISH (10) can be a touch dour, so the 2600m will suit her. Include.
