ONE TRUE KING (4) was a brave third on debut at Ashburton, and then improved to score by a neck here 18 days ago. The extra furlong is ideal, and this race will be a good stepping stone into some richer races later in the season as he continues to strengthen up. QUISIERA (13) last gamely to post a long overdue, but well-deserved maiden win at Wingatui 8 days ago. This is much tougher, but now that she has the monkey off her back, she should kick on with it. OAKSDEEL (12) was another overdue maiden winner when scoring comfortably by nearly a length at Ashburton 12 days ago. Her record on this track is not so flash, but she has each-way claims again. KIDS GOT GEARS (5) finished third in his first run for a new stable here 18 days ago, and he won't be in this grade for long. Include in all combinations. LA VOISIN (11) led all the way to score by over a length at Ashburton in her first run over a mile. She could take some pegging back again if she can find another soft lead.
