She is just as good on a turf surface and won't find this assignment any harder. She is up 3kg, but can repeat the dose. MALDINI (1) is racing his way into full fitness and was only beaten by a head on a very heavy track at Tauranga 3 weeks ago. He has a superior gate this time, and with a kilo less to carry, he can go one better. ALADDIN SANE (4) is a progressive gelding who has been placed in 2 of his 3 fresh-up starts in the past. He is resuming with a recent trial win under his belt, and with Michael McNab in the saddle, he will be ready to give this a shake. NANCY SHE WROTE (8) was beaten but not disgraced in the Listed Tauranga Classic fresh up there 3 weeks ago, and though she has a query on her ability to race at her best in a clockwise direction, she can still figure in the top 4.
