SPANDEX (7) lightly raced gelding heading in the right direction. Sat on the good tempo at his second run back when a well deserved maiden winner over 1400m at Tamworth. Gets a similar set up again and the mile shouldn't pose a problem. Hard to stop. ANNOINT (1) unlucky not to have a few more wins to his CV and finds an easier assignment. No match for the promising Charleroi when second over 1600m at Taree. Maps well and looks the main danger. GLORYESS (6) scored a tough maiden win two back at Tamworth, before running a respectable fourth over 1400m at Mungindi on July 5. Hard fit and sure to be competitive. PATHELIA (13) wound up strongly from the wide draw when an encouraging third over 2200m at Scone. Back in trip and not to be underestimated.
