DIAMOND EPIC (5) closed hard and won with authority two back over the mile at Eagle Farm. Tackled a similar race last start and again did her best work late but missed the frame. Getting to 1800m for the first time looks a timely move. Sure to be putting in the big ones late. LAST CHANCE SALOON (1) flashed home for third over a similar trip to this at Eagle Farm two back. Took on a $500k Magic Million race at the Gold Coast a fortnight ago and was outclassed. Major player back in this company. OKESUTORA (11) has been handy on the turn but lacked the change of gears in shorter races of late. Rock hard fit after three runs back and needs this sort of trip now. LA ROSETTA (13) is a mare in red-hot form and has to be included.

Gets beyond a mile for the first time and it looks a terrific option.

The race before that won by 1.1 len at Warwick Bm60 December 26 over 1500m defeating Ariat with 58.5kg at $13. Racing in great form and she should be about the mark again.

The run before that won by 0.6 len at Gold Coast 0 - 58 December 27 over 1400m defeating I Stole It carrying 54.5kg at $5.50. Definite winning chance. Stepping up in class but she is an in-form mare worth following.
