QUEEN TAVANE (9) is still a maiden but doing enough to suggest she can win this. Worked home okay without threatening last start in a Warwick Farm maiden over the mile. Crying out for this trip. Like the engagement of Jeff Penza who will give her every chance. RECOVERY ROAD (2) backs up five days after racing near the speed and battling on well for a very close third over this distance at Coonamble. Rock hard fit after four runs back and should get the ten furlongs off a modest tempo. THINK OF ONE (7) is a 15-start maiden who worked home evenly to finish fifth over 1600m at Kembla recently. Cherry ripe now and should cope with his first try beyond 1800m. THE BENTLEY (6) stepped up in distance and improved sharply last start at the second run of the campaign. On trial at 2000m but still warrants consideration. KITSILANO (5) filled a minor placing at his only run over this course and distance. Strong effort at this track last time - one for the exotics.
