While yet to win fresh, he has two minor placings, and with a touch of luck from a wide gate, she will be hard to hold out. LUCULLAN (3) resumes after a four-and-a-half-month break, boasting a first-up win over 1100m at Waverley last prep. A recent trial win suggests he's ready to fire and will be tough to beat. KERETI (2) was well-supported last start, finishing just a length behind the winner in third over 1200m at Awapuni on the poly track. With good early speed and a favorable draw, he's worth considering for all combinations. MY FERRARI (11) broke through last start over 1200m at Otaki, winning by 2 lengths. He has plenty of scope and can take the next step immediately. IN THE AIR (10) returns after an eight-month layoff and shouldn't be overlooked in a very competitive contest.
