THE DIRTY DEE (6) was sent out as an odds-on favourite when making her debut on her home track at New Plymouth a month ago, and delivered the goods as expected by over 3 lengths. A wet track won't be a problem, and she is set to repeat the dose. THE ESPY (1) showed talent as a juvenile and will resume from a spell with 4 trials this season already under his belt. Hard to beat fresh up. OUR SNIPER (3) won fresh up in his first run as a 3-year-old, and then was third in a 5-horse race at Whanganui a fortnight ago. The step from 1200m to 1400m will suit him, and he has top 3 claims again. LAURA'S LEGACY (4) beat a handy field on debut just over a fortnight ago at New Plymouth, and is bred to have no trouble with a wet track. She has scope and can go on with the job now. JUSTICE FOR ALL (7) finally struck a firmer surface at New Plymouth last time out and got the job done there by a nose. Now that the penny has dropped, she can go on with it.
